Learning and exploring the different aspects of a frog’s life

This week we are learning about frogs. And today we read the book titled ‘The Most Colourful Frog In The World’. We had a discussion about the different types of frogs that there are and which ones we want to learn about. We also had various frog activties set out, so that we could further explore and learn about frogs, as well as having fun. We spray painted green lillypads and painted and collaged the colourful frog to sit on the lillypad. We did our frog counting one to five about the five speckeld frogs that sat on a specekled log and completed a layered puzzle about the life cycle of a frog. We we made green tree frogs out of green play-dough to explore the texture. We also had a frog relay race as part of our exercise game for today. Everyone enjoyed being frogs as they jumped around.
